Hello Compliance Pros! In the past few days, several threads have given us new insight into the variety of OATS and pre-compliance sites in use by our esteemed members. We have heard that one lab has an OATS located in a "remote Southern California canyon at the foot of a 4000 foot high mountain." On the other hand, Eric Henning is laboring away "... in the underground hallway where i do pre-scans..."
I'm announcing a limited term contest to find the most interesting, or weird, OATS or pre-compliance site. Send entries directly to me (don't post to the list), and I will post the winning entry when I feel like it. (Criteria completely arbitrary, but you will get special credit for difficult terrain, geological danger, forbidding weather, hostile natives and money saved/wasted.) So, where do you do it?
