Hello Everyone,

Thanks for your replies on the IEC1010 thread. I have some more questions:

1. What would be required (by UL and CSA)  from components (capacitors, 
resistors) 
bridging BASIC INSULATION? Should they be "high integrity" even though if they 
fail 
(single fault) there's still grounding of accessible parts to protect the 
operator.

2. Which components would typically have to be "high integrity" and how can 
they be proven 
such (e.g. conform to some UL standard, pass a test?)

3. What are the differences between UL3101 and UL3111?
