I have a client that manufacturers a wireless security product. It operates on either 303.875 MHz or 433 MHz at 1mW, approximately 100 meter range, just short burst tranmissions (once per hour, 5 seconds per burst). The device is compliant with FCC in the USA. What are the approval requirements in Japan? Does VCCI approve this type of device or is it under control of some other agency?
