FYI - We have been using these in the primary and secondary of our isolation transformers for a number of years. Our devices are tested and compliant with UL2601 (EN60601-1). We have not had any trouble with the approval process or the functionality of the devices in the devices being distributed. We have used 100's of theses devices and seen no permanent failures. We also use these devices in some of our secondary DC power circuits to limit power to the required 10VA for use in oxygen enriched atmospheres.
