Doug, It seems that you're tempted to do the compliance testing/certification on some inverter yourself. I think you'd be much better off pushing that task off on the inverter vendor where it belongs. Otherwise, you'll be responsible for ensuring that the inverters you resell with your system continue to be exactly as tested. You get the responsibility without any control.
