Lisa, I recently discussed this concept with Norm Provost ( he was instrumental in the preparation of 1326 ), and I'm not sure that we agree.... but he is the Guru.
We have taken the definition of network to mean devices sharing the same source of power. For example, on a large machine, a single large dc power supply may deliver power to a controller, PLC, relays, valves, motor drives etc. We treat this as a dc network, because we think this is the responsible thing to do. We know others do not share this point of view..... To discuss this further, contact Norm directly.
