Hello,

I hope that you can help with this. I was asked to inquire about something and
although it doesn't pertain specifically to products I figured it might be something
that someone here would know something about.

The Question:

"NEC 200-7 requires a wire to be re-identified if it is going to be used as a hot wire
(black) and is normally not used ungrounded (white) in the USA. Does any
international code require a wire to be permanently re-identified as a hot wire in
electrical jobs outside the USA like NEC 200-7 requires in the USA?"

Or, barring any international codes, is it included in the electrical codes of
any countries outside of the US?

Thank You in advance for any help with this,
Bill Addiss
