Due to continued expansion, Genesys IBS has the following vacancy for an individual to join our dynamic, highly focused team. Approvals Engineer This is a demanding and varied technical role within Genesys' busy Services Department. Prime responsibilities will include: 1.. Evaluation of customers' products to identify relevant international compliance requirements. 2.. Testing products to international telecom, safety, EMC and radio standards, either in-house or at external laboratories. 3.. Project management of the approval processes in countries worldwide. 4.. Ongoing familiarisation with emerging telecom and radio communication technologies. The ideal candidate will be qualified to at least HNC level in a relevant discipline and have at least 2 years experience in the compliance industry. It is essential he/she has experience of working with telecom and/or radio technologies, preferably in a testing environment. Flexibility and the ability to work as part of a team are also very important qualities. The position offers good opportunities for career development and international travel.
