Hello group,
I'm currently involved in a project for making telecom (modem) products
satisfy requirements for as many countries as possible.
Countries that might be important for us at first are EU, US, S-E Asia,
Latin America, Eastern Europe and Russia.
We are a company based in Europe and do not have local representatives in
countries outside Europe. We are not much aware of the right regulation and
applicable standards (safety/EMC/telecom) in each specific country.
Do there exist organisations (testhouses, certification bodies, ...) that
can offer such a one-stop service in Europe? I suppose the answer is "YES"
(they might contact me off-line)
But a more specific question to this group: what are the criteria a company
has to look for to make the right choice?
