My understanding is that CSA is content with a date, a date-code, or a date-traceable serial number. The traceability of the serial number IS allowed, unlike UL, to rely on the manufacturer's records. Does anyone disagree? Thanks,

I remember having seen this before but I don't know if this is still the case. Asking a colleage, he said that it is not neccesary? Any feedback is appriciated.
