Hello Listmembers:
A recent thread was discussing the effects of RF emission on plant life in a rural environment. I finally managed to remember that the US Navy had become embroiled in this same environmental question when they attempted to construct a huge ELF antenna system in Michigan and Wisconsin (those locations were advantageous due to access to the underlying rock strata). This was called Project Sanguine, and was to be located in several US National Forests. An initial reference to Project Sanguine can be found at: http://www.fas.org/nuke/guide/usa/c3i/elf.htm There's also a rather huge bibliography of RF effects papers at: http://www.magma.ca/~pamelas/emf/PAPERS.HTM Ed Ed Price ed.pr...@cubic.com Electromagnetic Compatibility Lab Cubic Defense Systems San Diego, CA USA 858-505-2780 (Voice) 858-505-1583 (Fax) Military & Avionics EMC Services Is Our Specialty Shake-Bake-Shock - Metrology - Reliability Analysis ------------------------------------------- This message is from the IEEE EMC Society Product Safety Technical Committee emc-pstc discussion list.
