Safety Engineer: As a Safety Engineer at National Instruments (NI) in Austin, Texas, you will be responsible for ensuring our products are designed and tested to verify compliance with foreign and domestic safety requirements. This is an entry level product safety testing and engineering position where you will utilize safety skills to provide design advice on standards, PWB layout and component selection. Working closely with design teams you will be involved in product development from conception through final release to ensure safety quality.
Requirements: The position requires a B.S. in an engineering or science degree with at least 2 years product safety experience. Knowledge of NI hardware and software is a plus. You must have the ability to work effectively with minimum assistance and have excellent communications and organizational skills.
