John et al How can the authors of the directive reconcile the concept of "benign equipment" (which are outside the scope of the directive) with the requirement to include, for example, a mains lead? Does this mean that if leads are sold separately they must have a D of C? I assume that a lead provided with a piece of equipment would be covered by the D of C for that equipment.
