I choose tinned copper rather than diecast boxes as 55020 specifies dimensions for the boxes. I proved them using a network and spectrum analyser. Some of them complied with the spec of the standard "as built" others required tweaking. I remember the hardest one to get in spec was the coaxial cable CDN (S1?).
I actually quite enjoyed building them, it was nice to do some proper "RF work" for a change. The problem with using home-made CDNs for compliance testing (as opposed to pre-compliance) is proving that they do what the standard says they shall. -- Regards, John Woodgate, OOO - Own Opinions Only. http://www.jmwa.demon.co.uk Interested in professional sound reinforcement and distribution?
