Subject: Candidate Profile (EMI/EMC/SI/PCB Engineer)

Dear Sir/Madam:
I apologize for this unsolicited mail and any inconvenience this might cause
you. I would like to request you to review my cover letter and resume
(attached). If required, please direct this mail to those who might be
interested. I do not have a location preference and I'm willing to relocate.
I graduated from University of Missouri-Rolla (UMR) with a M.S. in Computer
Engineering. I have taken two courses (Grounding and Shielding and High
Speed Digital Design) taught by Dr.Todd Hubing, President, IEEE society
(http://www.emclab.umr.edu/studfac/hubing.html). I have done most of the
related work, mentioned in my resume in the EMC lab at UMR. Highlights of my
qualifications include:
1. Course/lab work and projects related to VLSI/FPGA design and
testing, PCB Layout Design guidelines, Signal Integrity and Electro-magnetic
Compatibility (EMC).
2. Extensive use of software languages/tools: HyperLynx, PSPICE,
Allegro, EMCEP, XTK, FDTD, MOM, LabView, Mentor Graphics Package, Exemplar's
Leonardo, VHDL, Verilog, C, Perl, MATLAB/FEMLAB & other Signal Integrity/EMC
tools.
3. Well versed in Microprocessor architecture (Intel 8086 to Pentium),
electromagnetics, transmission line theory, even/odd coupling modes
(cross-talk/SSO), inter-symbol interference, high frequency loss mechanisms
(skin/dielectric), PCB/PWB/Board Design principles and CMOS I/O driver
characteristics.
4. Experience working as a contractor in the field of Electrical
Engineering.

I feel that my creative and technical skills would abundantly qualify me for
a related position. If you would like to discuss my interest in such a
position or schedule an interview, please feel free to contact me through
email at [email protected] or by phone at (573) 647-1179. I thank you
again for your time and consideration. I will eagerly await your reply.

Sincerely,
Prabhanjan K Seelam.
