Thanks to the two who responded. I found the SUN reference earlier and it is good. This confirms my alternate method. I get the same results with a much smaller model but its has limitations. The drawback is I can only exactly model a circular PCB with the signal source at the center. It is interesting though and lets me investigate decoupling schemes. If anyone wants this method I'll send an email with an attachment.
