Hello Martin, Although I would agree there are no requirements for the Standards to be mentioned in the user manual, in my opinion I feel it crucial to identify them here as it gives the user the opportunity to define the operating environment and proper utilization.
Even if most users may not be able to decipher or interpret the Standards it would give the manufacturer some leverage in case of a lawsuit due to incorrect usage. I feel this information is just as important as the safety and caution warnings. Chapter 1! I hope I am not alone in this line of thinking.
