In the old days, you could buy a laminated film bypass capacitor that soldered under a through-hole DIP, connecting only to the corner power pins. Somewhere in the dust bin of my brain I thought they were made by Rogers, but they don't have anything like that now. Does anyone know if such beasts are still available?
