If your product is covered by the DENAN Law, standard specified by the Law should be used - in this case, J60065 would be applicable. I think most of the test result for 7th edition would be effective also for 6th edition (and J60065), and you have chance to show that the product complies with the requirements mainly through desk check, and with few or no re-testing.
