Hello all,

Be careful with this announcement. We have been unable to find collaborating
information on the Europa web site. Possibly some consultants, certain
periodicals, and the UK DTI office believe this to be true but until I see
confirmation on the Europa site and the Official Journal, it is my opinion
that the original dates are still in effect.

I also noticed that one of the announcements from an industry periodical
confused the term “take-back” with something related to dates. In
addition, concerning dates, they freely interchanged “take-bake” with
“put-back”. In the case of this directive, “take-back” is referring
to the issue of producer taking back obsolete equipment for recycling!
