Send for Leslie Bai. Regards Jeff Jin SIEMIC InfoTech (China) Ltd. www.siemic.com.cn SIEMIC (USA) Inc. www.siemic.com **************************** Hi, The RFID requirements for Japan will depend on the TX power, below 500uV/m at 3m distance, it does not need any approval.. If over 500uV/m at 3m distance, MIC (formerly MPHPT) certification is required base on Telec Specification and Test Method under new Japan Radio Law, Article 44, Clause 100, sub-clause 1, and Article 46. Summarized parameters and specifications are: 1. Carrier Frequency: 13.56MHz with max 50ppm tolerance 2. Electric field strength: Below spectrum Mask (available upon request) 3. Spurious Emissions: Below 50uW 4. Exposured strength to human body: Below 60.77uV/m and 0.16A/m in 6min.average. Pls note under the new Japan Radio Law, the new organization, MIC, is the ONLY government agency that issues Type Approval on 13.56MHz RFID. May also advise SIEMIC Labs in San Jose California is a designated RFID Test Lab for Japan MIC RFID Certifications. Any further questions, pls let me know.
