hello Marko,
your bullets below are accurate, but also they are not just ROHS based.
many chip mfr'rs change things like dye shrink and material casings and we
judge the impact,
and proving it is never easy as an end product mfr'r using 1000's of parts.

Side note, has anyone gone thru Nebs Leve 3 for GR-63 yet with a full ROHS
system?
thanks
Richard,

Subject: RE: Certifications for ROHS products

Ask yourself these questions:

- Am I absolutely certain that no electrical parameters have changed?
- Has there been no functionality change between conversions (feature adds,
clock changes, die shrinks, etc)?
- Can I prove it if requested?

If you can't answer "yes" to all of these questions, I suggest that you need
to retest the product.

Subject: Certifications for ROHS products

Dear Experts,

Some of our products are now getting converted to ROHS. The original
products are all certified for EMC and now is it necessary to recertify the
ROHS version also?

Sincerely
