Well, I found that, but those products have combustion engines (i.e. they are not electrical products) and I thought the Act is not applicable. Now, as Martin wrote, I now believe that no mandatory safety approvals required for the products. Of course, they must safe, and I believe they should comply with AS/NZ and/or IEC safety standards. Probably, in addition to the EMC requirements mentioned above, we may need to consider of: - Protection of the Environment Operations (Noise Control) Regulation (http://www.environment.nsw.gov.au/legal/summariesreg.htm#poeonc) - Clean Air (Plant and Equipment) Regulation (http://www.environment.nsw.gov.au/legal/summariesreg.htm#cape) Thanks everyone.
