Doug A reminder - CE Marking and the related EC DoC is only needed for those Directives where the text thereof states that these are SPECIFICALLY required.
If there is no such requirement in the text of a Directive or the equipment is outside the scope of that Directive, then - in fact - the CE Marking must (legally!) NOT be applied in respect of that Directive, although there is probably nothing to stop you actually making a relevant DoC to relevant standards which are harmonised under that Directive (but not to the Directive itself).
