The IEC has published several documents concerning graphical symbols. Here is
the search result using the phrase 'graphical symbols':

There has to be some standard out there that has standardized the symbols used
on ITE equipment? Does anyone know of such standard or reference document
where I can find this information.

Subject: Information Technology Symbols

Does anyone know where I can find standard symbols for various types of input
devices on pc's (keyboard, mouse, fire wire, com ports, modem, ethernet,
etc.)? I checked IEC 60417 & ISO 7000 and couldn't find anything in those two
standards.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Sincerely,
