John,

Since 1.05.2004 I am all the time trying to understand how to implement EMC 
directive in my work.
Until now I understood that I can use the EN xxxx  standard partially only 
if the certified (notified, accredited ?) body is used in the process and 
they accept it.

Do really the manufacturer can claim that the standard can be used only 
partially ?
Where it is written ?
