The applicable EMC requirement (both emissions and immunity) for telecom equipment in Brazil is Resolution 237, dated November 2000. This standard borrows heavily from international standards such as CISPR 22, CISPR 24, K.21, and K.22, and the test procedures are mostly drawn from the IEC 61000 series. However, in some cases Brazil has altered some of the limits and has added tests that are specific to Brazil.
