Colleagues, We are investigating testing WCDMA devices in the 1850 - 1910 MHz bands. Specifically I am interested in testing the out of band radiated spurious emissions from the device. My understanding is that the requirement is found in CFR 47 Part 24.238 and there is a measurement procedure referenced there as well. My specific question - is there a measurement procedure such as ANSI C63.4 / FCC Public Notice DA 000705 [for Part 15 unlicensed transmitters / FHSS devices] or TIA-603B [for Land Mobile devices] that exists for these measurements? Or do we execute good engineering judgment based on the procedure specified in 24.238[b]?
