You might consider ANSI T1.315-2001 “Voltage Levels for DC-Powered Equipment
Used in the Telecommunications Environment”. This standard contains tests
addressing transients, immunity, under voltage and others. There are some test
setups included.

Subject: Standard for interrupting DC power supply output?

Hello,

Does anyone know of a standardized test for simulating power glitches or

interruptions on the output of a DC power supply? I am not interested in

testing susceptibility of the AC power input but creating some sort of

"standardized interruption" of the DC supply's output voltage supply.

I am trying to simulate a loose connector on a +48 supply power cable

to a product under test.

Thanks in advance,

Dave Garnier
