Dear Experts,
We are using various electrical connectors in our products. These
connectors have plastic enclosures made up of Nylon 9TL94V-0. Connector
manufacturers provide us SGS test report for the basic resin pellets which
shows the pellets is RoHS complaint. But our customers complaint that as
per their tests the connector plastic enclosures are not RoHS compliant. I
request you all to guide me how to correlate the test report of the basic
resins to the finished product. Do I need to get more test reports from the
connector manufacturers for the Pigments, Stearate, Organic Peroxide,
Inorganic Fillers etc. used in the moulding process?
What are the homogenous parts in a connector plastic enclosure? Or
the enclosure is a single homogenous part? Or the above listed items such
as pigments, fillers etc. are considered as homogenous parts?
Is there any other forum where I can answers for this kind of
questions?
Sincerely
K.Balasubramanian
