Brian, Thanks for your answer but I´m not sure I understand it correctly. To be more precise, Iif we have a equipment without radio but connected to the PSTN (i.e. E1, T1 DSL, FxOer) is this equipment in the scope of EN 300 386 and or the R&TTE directive? Thanks Regards Anders

For R&TTE EMC requirements, it was optional to use the procedures of 89/336/EEC to demonstrate conformity (Article 10.2 of 1999/5/EC), but the Commission has confirmed that it is not possible to use 2004/108/EC in the same way.
