To All, On Friday, September 14, 2007 an email was sent to the EMC-PSTC Email List with a subject of "FW: Favor to ask". This appears to be a phishing attempt sent to the list. There also appears to be an attachment to the email. If you have not already opened this email, it is strongly recommended that you do not, but delete it instead.
It is not clear whether this email came from a list subscriber's email client, or if it came from some computer elsewhere that is spoofing the return address. It does show that, even with multiple levels of blocking and filtering, this kind of thing can still get through. We strongly recommend that all list subscribers check their computers for spyware on a regular basis so as to limit this sort of problem. As always, if there are any questions or problems with this, please feel free to contact one of us off-list. -- Best Regards, Scott Douglas EMC-PSTC Administrator email: emcp...@ptcnh.net - This message is from the IEEE Product Safety Engineering Society emc-pstc discussion list.
