Where does it say "cheap computers" in this article? When I hear the word "cheap" it implies something low cost and possibly low quality. I do not consider HP or Dell computers to be of low quality. I don't want to suspect negative bias in this post but it has crossed my mind considering the words used to describe power supplies and the disappointment of finding nothing on the CPSC web site.
As a product safety professional who has dealt with these situations, I take "no joy" in anyone's dealings with an event that can end up in court. I may be over-reacting to this but it is not something to be taken lightly by casually implying what might have been the problem.
