Hello all, Does anybody know what would be the equivalent standard to ISO-10605 (used for road vehicle applications) for other applications like industrial and medical? I am looking for the specific requirement defined in ISO-10605 as "Component packaging and handling test method and requirement (unpowered ESD test)" where an ESD R-C network of 150pF/2000 ohm or 150 pF/330 ohm are specified. The ESD test requirement, test method and ESD R-C network defined in IEC 61000-4-2 are given for ESD testing while EUT is operating, but there is not specific requirement and test method defined for packaging and handling (EUT unpowered). I was wondering if there is a similar standard as ISO-10605 used for road vehicles but for other applications. I would appreciate any guidance on what would be the appropriate standard I can refer to for ESD test on hanlding and packaging. Thank you.
