Hello all. Does anyone out there in EMC land know what happened to IEC 61000-4-29:2000 (Dips, & Interruptions on DC Power Ports) In the forward it states " the committee has decided that the contents of this publication will remain unchanged untill 2002, at this date the publication will be;
Reconfirmed, withdrawn, revised, or amended". The latest version I can locate is a BS EN version dated 2001. Does anyone know what has happened to this standard ??? It appears it was never updated. It is called out as a required test for NAMUR-21 certification (a process control Immunity standard used in the German Chemical & Pharmaceutical industries). Some of the test levels are outside the levels & frequencies called out in IEC 61326. I need to know the status of the IEC 61000-4-29 document so I can do battle on the NAMUR 21 requirements. For instance, NAMUR 21 calls out a 61000-4-6 test starting at 10Khz @ 10Vrms, far above the EN 61326 requirement of 3 Vrms (0.150-80Mhz). Any insight on this issue will be gratefully received. Thanks to all in advance.
