TUV Rheinland of North America is currently seeking an EMC/Telecom Engineer to help support the EMC and Telecom Divisions at our Pleasanton, CA location. The candidate will possess the following skill set and knowledge: Scope of Position The professional engineering staff member shares in the responsibility to further company growth and profitability. Under general supervision, he/she may supervise the work of technicians and he/she performs tests to certification of equipment to applicable emc standards and procedures and advises customer of non-compliance or issues compliance certificate. This position requires specialized knowledge, the ability to work independently and consistent exercise of discretion and sound judgment. Job Duties/ Responsibilities
* Independently evaluates, selects and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria * Devises new approaches to problems * Schedules and coordinates projects * Consults with clients, pre-evaluates projects and reviews job cost and duration * Expands client base by following marketing leads and offers other TUV Rheinland services to client base * Investigates to international standards * Prepares for, assists with, performs or supervises laboratory tests * Generates and revises test reports and documentation * Sets cost limits * Reports time and money spent on an on-going basis for billing purposes * Keeps all client information confidential * Performs other related duties and assignments as required Education & Training * Bachelor Degree in Engineering * Basic EMC/Telecom training * Good communication, customer relations and project acquisition skills * Minimum 2 years related EMC specific workplace experience Anyone interested in bthis position, can e-mail me their resume Best Regards, Peter <http://media.monster.com/jobview_standard/images/pixel.gif> - This message is from the IEEE Product Safety Engineering Society emc-pstc discussion list.
