Hi Tim

The user manual being Japanese isn't really a problem, the preselector
developed a fault so I sent it to a company in NJ called Alltest for repair.
In the past they've been really good fixing Advantest stuff but in this case
they're stuck for the schematic to fault find it. Unfortunately I don't think
Advantest sold many preselectors so information seems pretty scarce and the
Analyser isn't much use without it for OATS measurements.

Thanks for the info all the same

Rich

Hi Rich.

Have you tried giving Google translation a chance to see what it make of the
Japanese?

I think that is where the Chinese - English manuals are translated!!

Regards
Tim

                    *** WARNING ***

This message has originated outside your organisation,

Keep this in mind if you answer this message.

Sorry for being a little off topic but I'm looking for the schematic for an
Advantest Preselector R3553. I've been able to download the user manual in
Japanese off the Advantest Japan website but am unable to find any
service/schematic information.
I'm guessing we're not the only EMC lab using the Advantest R3271A/R3553
combination so someone somewhere must have documentation on it

As I guess this is a little off topic its probably be best to reply off the
reflector

Thanks in advance

Rich
