Knowing the intended operating environment and general use for this vehicle
would probably help the group.....

e.g.

public roads

private land but with public access

commercial only use on private ground

Is it intended to carry people........

Does it perform any lifting operations....

etc

Subject: Appropriate standards for a Remotely operated Vehicle

Gday All,
It's been a while since I posted a question.

We make a six-wheeled remotely operated vehicle about the size of a smart car.
It is battery powered and remotely controlled by radio with video links etc.
The question has come up as to the commercial standards and directives
applicable in the EU for EMC and Safety.
The radio link standard is known, but it is the others that there is some
debate on.
If anyone has any experience with this type of product, I would be very
interested to talk to you.
You can contact me privately if more details of the equipment are required

Regards to all
