        From january 2010, it´s agains the law to import electrical and 
electronic
produto to Brazil with cords and plugs which do not comply with brazilian
standard ABNT NBR 14136:2006. And yes, your products could be rejected by
customs if not in compliance. Please note that this does not apply to
industrial equipment.
