But Ethernet *is* defined as a "telecommunications/network port" in CISPR 22. RS-232, IEEE 1264 and 1394, and USB are *not* according to CISPR 22.
It is the length of the cable that is the determining factor and of those listed in CISPR 22 the RS-232 spec seems to have the longest cable length (50 feet in the specs). I believe the maximum length in the Infiniband spec is 10m which would mean it is NOT a "telecommunications/network port". See clause 3.6 of CISRP 22 Ed 5.0 for the definition. It is not very defining as far as length of cable is concerned or what the cutoff is. It seems purposefully vague. I think in this case though you are safe to say Infiniband is not a telecommunications/network port.
