Does CCC handle medical products - large X-ray machines and the like, or does
China allow the use of a CB report.

One of our program manages has been asked to get samples ready for "Chinese
UL" and that the samples don't have to be final versions, just maybe electrical
prototypes. I know that UL has offices in China, but those are nothing more
than an extension of the US offices. Do you think the customer might mean CCC?
I'm confused. China isn't part of the EU so I don't believe they accept CB
reports for safety, but I think UL does have country deviations for China - so
maybe they do.
But in either case sending non-functioning prototypes mechanical or electrical
doesn't match up in any case I can think of.
This is a Chinese Manufacturer but I think we having some difficulties with the
language.

Can anybody straighten me out a little here.
