product - DC/DC converter module
scope - IEC62109-1/UL1741, installed inside combiner box
electrical - 200V to 1000Vdc, floating or grounded input; floating or
grounded isolated output.

61000-6-1 indicates 61000-4-2 for ESD, and has a test methods for ungrounded
equipment.

Questions
1. Has any industry group established additional ESD test
requirments/methods?
2. Should the two methods (floor-standing and table top) both be applied?
3. 8kV adequate test level?
4. Would the automotive ISO10605 test methods/levels be more representative?

thanks,
Brian
