QUALIFICATIONS: Networking industry experience with one of Wireless AP’s, Routers or Switches is required. * Digital Engineering knowledge is required. * Good working knowledge of RF Engineering, Antenna engineering is a big plus. * Good understanding of IEEE 802.11 standard is desired. * Good understanding of 802.3af/at standard (POE) and applicable circuit design for PSE and PD devices is desired. * Good knowledge and experience with high speed board design techniques including power regulators, bypassing, oscillator applications, differential signaling and sensitive analog interfaces. · Hands-on working experience in high-speed signal integrity, in particular PCIe and DDR related areas. · Perform DVT on digital boards, and working with RF engineer in system level performance evaluation. · Detail oriented, and ability to do bench rework when necessary. Experience in dealing transformer/magnetics and with associated EMI issues. * Current experience with high speed CPU’s for embedded applications is desired. * Experience in design of DDR memory arrays, NOR/NAND Flash devices, * Practical skills in using Linux OS is a plus. * Programming skills with scripting languages or PC applications is a plus. * Experience using lab test equipment like Digital Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzer, Logic Analyzers, etc. is required. * Candidate must have excellent interpersonal communication skills, be a self-starter and a good team player. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE BSEE, MSEE preferred with at least 5 years of recent and direct experience with tasks detailed in Qualifications.
