Our prismatic-based packs comply with IEC 61960 marking requirements... Our NB and the AIMDD require date/lot/SN coding, I forget if the batt standard does.

IATA regs don't seem to include any requirement for date code/serial number 62133 states that "Cells shall be marked as specified in the following applicable cell standards: IEC 60285, IEC 61436, IEC 61440, IEC 61951-1, IEC 61951-2 or IEC 91960." The Cells within the battery are date coded, but do any of the above documents (or other documents / directives) require small (1.5 Ah) batteries to be marked externally with either serial number or date code for traceability purposes?
