Most of consumers rely on the brand rather than country of manufacturing.  The 
country does not have direct management of quality of product but the brand is 
managing the supply chain and have the authority to manage the quality of 
products.  If the consumers do not like the products manufactured in PRC, the 
brand will move the manufacturing back to their home countries, like Apple, 
Google, etc.  Alternatively they can move to Vietnam, India, Bangladesh or 
elsewhere where the cost of manufacturing is lower than China like Samsung and 
Gap, WalMart, etc.
