Basically, I would say it does not have any influence on 950.
If you introduce 1 fault, the RCD will maybe not function as intended, but
still it safe in the 950 meaning. But the disable RCD function may give
another problem ...

You build yourself a custom RCD module (Residual-Current Device) to be
placed inside a EN6950-1 product. For detection, process, safety relay
control, etc., you make use of a FPGA.
Does the introduction of a FPGA make any special issues for an EN60950-1
approval?
