gogo Commercial Aviation has a job opening for an International RF Regulatory Engineer.

*Key Responsibilities:*

 * Working with regulatory and/or legal staff, analyze rules and
   regulations to determine technical compliance requirements for
   licensing Gogo networks in both domestic and international jurisdictions
 * Work cooperatively with National regulatory bodies world-wide to
   ensure that Gogo services comply with any local, national or
   regional regulations based on an understanding of technical
   requirements.
 * Manage the accurate and complete preparation and submission of any
   regulatory reporting’s or filings related to the technical aspects
   of Gogo service worldwide.
 * Interface with regulatory authorities to clarify and/or negotiate
   regulatory compliance requirements
 * Coordinate development of Gogo technical documentation required to
   support regulatory processes.

*Qualifications:*

 * Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical performance
   experience.
 * A minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience in global RF approvals.
 * Knowledge of EU, China, Japan, Brazil, and Mexico - RF/EMC/Safety
   regulations pertinent to Gogo, including WLAN and satellite
   telecommunications certification, testing and approvals.
 * Knowledge of FCC rules and regulations pertinent to Gogo, including
   Parts 15, 22 and 25
 * Demonstrated Project Management skills
