Hello Bostjan, My recommendation is to purchase precision optical test equipment from a manufacturer that offers traceable calibration services. In my opinion, the best option is to have the manufacturer perform the traceable calibration if they offer the service.
There are few independent laboratories with the capability of calibration laser test equipment. The original equipment manufacturer is more likely to be able to properly determine if equipment is within tolerance throughout its full range. The manufacturer is more likely to be able to make the proper adjustments to bring equipment back into tolerance if needed. The market for laser test equipment is small and there isn't enough business for independent laboratories to gain proficiency through routine testing. Best regards, Ted Eckert Microsoft Corporation The opinions are my own and do not necessarily reflect those of my employer. Preferable in EU. Thank you for your support.
