I've seen/heard this doing injection at audio. Expect that if your rf clamp
is singing at the modulation frequency, suggest that is a saturation
phenomenon causing the physical movement.

Subject: [PSES] "Singing probe"

Hello,

A question for the experts. While doing an automotive BCI test, the
injection probe started "singing". During the test around 56-60 MHz while
applying the standard AM 1 kHz 80% modulation, I could hear a tone at about
1 kHz. This only occurred on some of the cables, not all. Granted the DUT
has a higher cable density and draws more power than I'm used to doing, but
I have been doing this type of testing for quite a few years and have never
experienced this before.

Has anyone ever seen (heard) this before?

Regards,

Rick Goodwin
