The only complaint is from product managers trying to squeeze every last bit of margin out of products. Those extra $6 or so get thrown out in most cases. In past lives we did what Doug suggested. Made the power cord a separate line on the customer order. That worked well for us. Only issue there was the power cord was not packed in the box with the product.
